WebAs far as I can tell it's not even useful for just breaking a ship up in a custom way without using cut-points because it isn't able to cut the main structural beams that the cut points join together. I think there could be an argument for a toggle between power level 1 and 2 after you take this upgrade. But as an always-on, it's just a PITA. WebOr maybe particular cut points could be fused and can't be cut via the point cutter, leading to a messier solution. The other thing I am eager for is smaller but more complicated ships. At the moment the difficulty scales with size, but I'd rather have a relatively small cramped ship with a complicated array of cuts hidden in small spaces.
